Terms & Conditions
To make sure Clay Week runs smoothly we have to put some boundaries in place. It’s healthy, trust us. But we want to make sure all of our bases are covered.

Instruction: By purchasing a ticket, you agree to strictly follow all safety briefings and tool-handling instructions provided by your tutor.
Equipment Liability: * Fair Wear & Tear: We understand that accidents happen. Small breakages (e.g., snapped needles, broken drill bits) occurring during the normal course of learning are considered "fair wear and tear."
Gross Negligence: Participants may be held liable for damage to expensive machinery or venue property if such damage results from a deliberate failure to follow safety protocols or reckless behavior.
General Liability: The individual tutor is responsible for workshop-specific Health & Safety.
Building-related H&S is the responsibility of the venue (e.g., NMIT).
-
Punctuality: Workshops involve sequential learning. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. Late arrivals may miss essential safety briefings and, at the tutor's discretion, may be unable to participate (no refunds apply in this instance).
Age Limits: Age restrictions are clearly marked on each listing. It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure ticket holders meet these requirements.
-
Tutor Communication: You consent to your email address being shared with your specific tutor for essential pre-workshop instructions. It will not be used for marketing without your express consent.
Photography: We may capture photos/video for future festival promotion. If you do not wish to be featured, please notify the photographer on the day or email us at hello@clayweek.co.nz beforehand.
